Today, I had the incredible opportunity to photograph the annual friends get together at Esperanza Residencia in Lucban, Quezon. The venue was absolutely stunning, with beautiful white ceilings and walls that provided the perfect backdrop for our photoshoot. As I arrived, I couldn't help but feel inspired by the beauty of the location and the energy of the group of friends who had gathered there.
I brought along my trusty Fujifilm camera, equipped with various film simulations that I knew would enhance the overall look and feel of the photos. I decided to experiment with different film simulations throughout the shoot to capture the essence of the moment in a unique and creative way.
One of the main challenges I faced during the shoot was the lighting conditions in the venue. While the white walls and ceilings provided a beautiful backdrop, they also created harsh lighting that cast shadows on the faces of the group. To combat this, I decided to use off-camera flash to create a more even and flattering light on my subjects.
As I clicked away, I couldn't help but be amazed by the camaraderie and joy that radiated from the group of friends. Their laughter and smiles were infectious, and I felt privileged to capture those moments on film. One particular memorable moment was when they all huddled together for a group photo, laughing and joking with each other. It was a beautiful moment of connection and friendship that I was honored to preserve through my lens.
After the shoot, I went home and imported my photos into Capture One Pro, where I spent hours fine-tuning and editing each image to perfection. It was a labor of love, but seeing the final results made it all worth it.
Overall, the photography experience at the annual friends get together was a rewarding and fulfilling one. I was able to capture the spirit and essence of the event in a way that I hope will be cherished by the group for years to come.
