I arrived at McDonald's for the 1st birthday party shoot, and excitement filled the air as kids ran around with balloons in hand. The party area was decked out with colorful decorations and games, creating the perfect backdrop for capturing joyful moments.
As I set up my Fujifilm Camera, I knew I wanted to use the PRO Neg Hi Film Simulation to achieve a warm and vibrant look in my photos. The lighting in the party area was tungsten, so I decided to use a CTO gel to match the color temperature and ensure consistent lighting throughout the shoot.
Capturing candid shots of the kids playing games and laughing was pure joy. Their smiles were infectious, and it was a delight to freeze those fleeting moments in time. However, working with young children also presented its challenges. Keeping them focused and getting them to stay still for group shots required patience and quick reflexes.
After the shoot, I imported the photos into Capture One Pro to enhance the colors and make minor adjustments to ensure the images truly captured the magic of the day. As I looked through the final images, I couldn't help but smile at the joy and happiness that radiated from each frame.
