Vianca Fellise | Baptismal and 1st Birthday

As I sit down to reflect on my recent photography session, I am overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude and growth. The experience of capturing a baptismal and 1st birthday celebration all in one session was truly a special one. From the serene atmosphere of the church to the vibrant energy of the birthday party venue, I was faced with a unique set of challenges that pushed me to my creative limits.

The low light conditions in the church presented a challenge for me as a photographer, but instead of feeling discouraged, I saw it as an opportunity to experiment and push myself outside of my comfort zone. I embraced the darkness and used it to create moody and intimate shots that truly captured the solemnity of the baptismal ceremony.

On the other hand, the mixed lighting at the birthday party venue could have easily thrown me off balance, but instead, I chose to see it as a chance to play with different tones and hues. I embraced the challenge of balancing warm and cool tones to create a cohesive and visually appealing narrative throughout the session.

Through these challenges, I am proud to say that I have grown as a photographer. I have learned to adapt and overcome obstacles, to see them not as hindrances, but as opportunities for growth and creativity. I have honed my skills in working with low light conditions and mixed lighting, and I have developed a deeper understanding of how to manipulate light to create the mood and atmosphere I desire in my photos.

As I sit here editing the photos from the session, I can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. The bright and pastel vibes that I have infused into the edits perfectly capture the innocence and joy of the occasion. Each image tells a story, not just of the events that unfolded that day, but of my own personal journey and growth as a photographer.

In the end, it's not just about capturing beautiful images, but about capturing emotions, moments, and memories that will last a lifetime. And in that sense, I feel truly privileged to be able to do what I love and to share that love with others through my photography.
