Zebi’s 7th Birthday Celebration at SLSU Covered Court

I recently had the opportunity to photograph a grand birthday party for a 7-year-old child. The party was held at a covered court, with a beautifully decorated stage that had harsh lighting.

While the stage was well-lit, I noticed that the rest of the area where the guests were seated was quite dark. This presented a challenge for me as a photographer, as I needed to ensure that my photos captured the essence of the celebration.

To overcome this lighting issue, I used my Fujifilm Camera and Off Camera Flash. By positioning the flash strategically, I was able to illuminate the guests and create a well-balanced and vibrant composition in my photographs.

After the event, I imported my photos into Capture One Pro for editing. This professional editing software allowed me to enhance the colors, sharpness, and overall visual appeal of the images, making them truly stand out.

Overall, the birthday party was a joyous occasion, and I am grateful for the opportunity to capture the special moments with my photography skills and equipment.
