There's something magical about turning 18 in a place that feels like it's from another country.
For Nica's debut shoot, we went to a farm in Lucban, Quezon that gives off total New Zealand vibes — rolling greens, open skies, and that fresh mountain air. It was the perfect backdrop for her 3 outfits and her story.
The Concept: Contrast & Harmony
We planned 3 sets with colors that play with he greens around us.
- Contrasting set: To make her pop against the field
- Analogous to greens: To blend softly with nature
- Statement set: For that debutante, celebratory feel
Each outfit told a different side of her — from youthful and fun, to elegant and poised.
From 3PM to 6PM
We started at 3PM and chased the light all the way to 6PM
The late afternoon sun gave us that soft, golden glow, and by the last shots we were both tired, laughing, and feeling so accomplished. It's one of those shoots where everything just clocks — with the location, the light, and the client.
