Last May 1, I had the chance to document a special double celebration for the Salanda family — a heartfelt afternoon house blessing followed by a cozy birthday gathering for little Primo who just turned two.
The new home was filled with quiet joy and gratitude as close family and friends joined in prayer. The soft afternoon light gave the space a calm and welcoming feel, like the house was already filled with memories just waiting to be made.
After the blessing, the celebration gently shifted to Primo’s birthday. No loud parties or fuss — just balloons, a small cake, and the kind of laughter that feels at home. He ran around with a quiet confidence that only a two-year-old could pull off, completely unaware he was the center of everyone’s attention.
