Mike and Chichie celebrated their birthdays surrounded by family and close friends at Nawawalang Paraiso Resort and Hotel in Tayabas. The setting gave us lots of space to move — from the shaded poolside to open-air dining and wide garden spots, each part of the resort gave a relaxed, vacation feel to the whole day.
For this shoot, I leaned into available light and moments as they naturally happened. Kids running between tables, warm backlight on the celebrants, and laughter that kept coming in waves — it was all about being present, not posed.
The best part? It didn’t feel rushed. Just a laid-back celebration with people who clearly enjoy being around each other.
